These materials will help my students in using regular classroom tools more efficiently by modifying them to meet their needs. These tools will adjust the classroom to fit the students, not the students to fit the classroom. My students will benefit from the laminator, for example, because it will allow me to post their work quickly around the room, making them feel a sense of pride and belonging. I will also use it to laminate handwriting worksheets they can practice and erase on! Tools like pencil and pen adapters will help my special education students develop more easily their writing and fine motor skills!
