Pre-K can write! We will begin our day with writing in our journals about specific and open ended prompts. Many times Pre-K begins with how to hold a pencil or crayons and even trying to decide which hand is dominant. It is amazing to see the transition and growth from early pencil strokes into actual words and sentences at the end of the year. Early writing and drawing opportunities will help promote fine motor skills as well as create a strong basis for early literacy. Please help us fund this project with appropriate composition books and crayons in order to help our little kiddos express themselves and their creativity.
