Science is no easy subject. Many find it daunting and feel disconnected to its concepts. With these science supplies my students will have various opportunities to engage with hands-on inquiry-based experiments. The power of hands-on science goes beyond a student's engagement, it enriches the connection between him or her and the world. This project allows for my students to become familiar at utilizing necessary lab equipment such as the scale and reading units. It additionally allows them to take on active roles investigating various concepts in science - the relationship between photosynthesis and cellular respiration, the relationship between predator and prey, and the molecule of water and its properties. Students will uncover who they are, how the world works, and how they fit into this world.
