I work in an elementary media center that services 950 students. We are not a Title I school so we don't receive any extra funding. In fact, funding decreases each year. I have two Book Fairs a year to pay for any of the extra programs I want to do, but it just isn't enough. I already have programs for Third and Fourth grade. This project would fund a program for the Second graders. My goal is to have special programs for each grade level.
