My students use whiteboards on a daily basis in my classroom. Due to COVID-19, it is difficult to implement lessons following the CDC guidelines with social distancing in the classroom. By using the whiteboards, I am able to teach guided Math and check for understanding using the whiteboards. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. I am also able to differentiate for my students because each student will have their own individual whiteboard. With the whiteboards and markers, I will be able to implement differentiated lessons to help my students succeed. Each student will be involved in their learning and able to share their own ideas and thinking.
