At this time, I only have the typical student desks and chairs in my classroom along with a carpet on the floor. I would like to provide some opportunity for choice and comfort in my classroom in order to create a favorable environment for my students. Especially since they have spent the last year completing schoolwork from their beds and/or couches, I think it will be more important than ever to create some flexibility for students during instruction. I hope by providing this choice to students, they will feel some autonomy despite no longer receiving education from the comfort of their own homes.
