Students will be creating, testing, packaging and selling baked products. (cookies, muffins, cupcakes, bar desserts, snacks and refrigerated desserts.) Students will package bake goods in cello bags using a heat sealer. They will also need various tools for baking and learn how to market their products. This is the first time that students will be preparing, packaging and selling their products. Students will learn how to create a quality product and package it for retail. They can use this knowledge as they pursue post secondary education and/or enter the workforce. Ultimately, it would be great to have monetary donations to purchase food items from vendors to make the products.
