My students are the future of our community. When they come to my Music classroom, they will sing and dance and play, but they also learn important social skills. These drums and other instruments requested will teach them focus, respect, and teamwork, in addition to the musical skills of rhythm and listening. The drum circles we will create with these instruments will teach them lessons that they will use beyond Music class. They will communicate without words. They will listen more intently. They will build a community that will shape the future.

About my class
