This is my first year teaching at this high and intermediate school! I am very excited to begin this adventure and hope to start this school year off right. These materials will help me to set up my classroom this year and for many years to come! I am hoping to receive a wide variety of books and other reading materials in order to create a classroom library that will inspire my students to love reading. I have chosen books that relate to our class and are interesting to the students. They will mostly be used to offer extensive reading opportunities to the students both in class and at home. This will help to improve their reading fluency and comprehension, support creative thinking, and help them to become lifelong readers and learners. I also included basic supplies such as a printer, a bookshelf, tape, washi tape, drawer organizers, and classroom decorations to help make my classroom into a safe space that my students look forward to spending time in.
