Students will be able to learn basic sculpting techniques using the requested clay, markers, and brushes. They will create stop motion animations that will be 15 seconds long! Imagine the nightmare before Christmas movie. That was stop motion animation and all done by hand using model clay and paint. Students will be doing that same thing but on a smaller scale! Students are always so proud of their animations, and when they have adequate materials to use, they will go the distance! This will allow them to become true storytellers as it is a part of their Hawaiian culture.
