In previous years there were several power strips placed around the room so students could charge their laptops. Last year the fire marshall informed me the power strips were a tripping hazard and had to be removed. Please help my students charge their laptops in the safest way possible as we return to school 100% face to face. This will help all of my students because there are not enough outlets in my room for the number of students who typically need to charge their laptops, especially with social distancing factored in. The power strip towers will be placed on tables throughout the room so more than one student can use them from different angles at the same time in a socially distant way. Having the accessibility of multiple outlets to access safely will go a long way to giving them and me peace of mind as we return to what will be the new normal.
