This project will help our students create a garden with native Hawaiian plants and the importance of "Huli ka lima i lalo." The importance of this ʻōlelo noʻeau is for students to learn about taking care of one another and the land. They will learn how to work together and learn about native plants. We will partner with a member in our community. Through the partnerships, student learning, and each other, they will see how these different networks and relationships are started, maintained and grow; just like the plants in their garden!
