I am requesting pillows, lounger, magnetic display shelves and book bins. I want my students to develop a passion for reading. By having a safe and cozy place in the classroom, I’m hoping they will learn to enjoy reading. I love curling up and reading a good book. I want my students to have the opportunity to do the same thing. Reading is a big focus in third grade and there is a higher chance for success in reading if my students find it enjoyable. Providing these materials will help my students feel comfortable while reading and give a home like vibe to our classroom. My eager third graders will want to escape to the reading nook to curl up and read a good book!
