Kids love color, and can we blame them? Most of us take the world in first with our eyes, and preschoolers are no different. They are drawn to vivid colors that tantalize their sight, and materials that can be manipulated with their hands to engage their tactile senses as well. With these colorful classroom basics, students in my class will be able to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces at the art center with the Kwik Stix, while not making a mess....can I get an Amen?!) They will also engage in multi-sensory letter and number formation with the use of Playdoh and Wiki-sticks. The whiteboard markers and dry erase pockets will allow for easily differentiated activities in our teacher-directed literacy and math center time. The laminator and colorful cardstock will allow all activities to be created on attractive paper and last for many classes to come!
