Students learn best when using hands-on activities. I am requesting folding geometric shapes, two different geometric shapes, balance scale, weights, wax paper sheet, binder sleeves, makers, whiteboard eraser, transparent counters, triangles angles poster, notebooks, erase pocket sleeves, sheet protectors, jumbo dice, plastic square with seven color tiles and power strip. These resources will help students to visualize their learning so they can make connections. Thus students can gain a deeper understanding of mathematics. I want to help my students see that math matters. Math is everywhere around us. A deeper understanding of math in the classroom will encourage students to make connections outside the classroom. The supplies like wipes, gloves, and face masks will ensure safety upon students' return in the classroom. Lastly, a $100 gift card for educational resources from Teachers Pay Teachers will provide me with the opportunity to get extra resources for my students. Especially for those who need more help and prepare for their state test at the end of the school year. Please help me with my project to encourage students to enjoy math and see that they are part of our everyday lives, because math matters!
