These subscriptions will make a difference in my students’ lives in the classroom and at home, if they wish to continue lessons and further explorations! So many of my students are motivated by science and due to the nature of their needs, they benefit from constant practice and repetition. This is why I especially want to have access to Generation Genius and BrainPop, so they can have access to visual supports that are interactive and interesting to them. I did a trial of Generation Genius and the few weeks we had it, they absolutely loved using it - providing high-interest, high-quality videos and learning opportunities, extra practice and further readings. Brain Pop provides fantastic videos that are interesting and exciting to the students in my classroom, and explains complex topics in a simple, easy to understand format, which is essential for this class. Last year, the SLP and I used the free version of Baamboozle and it was highly motivating for them and they were able to play in groups, which enhanced the classroom community! However, because my students each have individualized goals and objectives, the premium subscription will allow much more focused and relevant games and activities. I am lucky to have some fantastic resources provided by the district, but these additional subscriptions would be invaluable to my students. Thank you for your consideration!
