In my project, I am asking for materials to create a learning environment that will allow for my students to flourish. These materials will allow me to set up my classroom environment in a way that is welcoming and inviting for all students who enter. The carpet will give students a comfortable place to sit and relax as well as indulge in their favorite books in the library. It will give students a calm space that promotes social-emotional awareness and a place for them to always come to decompress. The borders will help with the set up of bulletin boards, learning centers, and places for students to see and always to use their growth mindset. The classroom timer can help have great classroom management and time management for my students when transitioning from one thing to the next. My classroom will be a place to call home.
