To perform a marching band program, students need to have uniforms and updated equipment available to them. Without basic uniform elements, like properly fitted color guard costumes, or prop elements to aid their program, these students will fall behind in their competition scoring, lose key elements of a cohesive visual program and, more importantly, be at risk of lack of proper coverage by their uniforms during the months of autumn. Uniforms and updated equipment will assure that the students will remain safe, comfortable and confident throughout a demanding band show, and will look their best in front of their community and their competition judges. As we record our music-making and receive competitive feedback, the uniform upgrades and prop elements we hope to incorporate will help improve the band's experience as our season and school year progresses to a full-time return to their school careers.
