Computers are used daily in the classroom. The headphones will be used to listen to instructions for learning activities. We have the students complete fun assignments and do learning activities that are educational and fun. Headphones are important in the classroom to help keep the sound level down so they don't hear other computers. Headphones are also needed for math story problems and reading online. They students love learning how to use computers and be engaged in online learning activities, and sturdy headphones are needed for this daily use. I purchased headphones with my own money last year for the students since most of the families can't afford them due to living in lower income housing. The headphones that I could afford were breaking within a week. This is why good quality headphones would be appreciated in my classroom.
