My students will use these supplies in the class to practice looking at bloodstains. This is a medical training course. The students that I have are ones with a vision for their lives. They aspire to be health care workers, even during a pandemic. They want to heal and give back when so many teenagers are lost. They work extraordinarily hard, and I try to push them as far as I can. While every student is special, and every student deserves the help that we can give them, with my students it is not "help" but an investment in our future. They deserve everything we can do to help them get their dreams. Because of COVID, they have not done very many hands-on things. This will be a treat for them if I get this funded. They will use the differential counter to get hands-on experience performing a test in the same manner as is done in hospitals and clinics.
