While our classroom offers strong sturdy desks for school work, a circle time plush area is nonexistent. If granted this donation, students will use the carpet for social-emotional learning in the mornings which includes sharing about their feelings and discovering new mind and body techniques to relieve stress, sadness and anger. In the afternoons, we will spend our time on the carpet engaging in yoga and breathing. This carpet will also provide students the flexibility to extend their exploration in small groups while problem solving developing ideas. Thank you for considering supporting our 3rd grade classroom.
