Making manipulatives worth it in my classroom is my goal for this project. I have 18 inquisitive kindergarteners who have shown an excitement about learning this school year. As a first year teacher, I do not have a lot of materials and manipulatives in my classroom. This project will give me the tools I need to enhance my students growth and learning. Math and language manipulatives add an extra learning tool in addition to the daily lessons that are being taught. Manipulatives give students additional practice through play. By funding my project, you will not only give me the materials needed but you will give me a greater joy of knowing I was able to enhance my students learning.
