This project will give students different perspectives on Social Studies and Science grade level topics including: the Gold Rush, Native Americans, California Missions, California Geography, Rocks and Soil, Adaptations and Natural Disasters. Because my students are at various reading levels, having various texts for them to read and look through will be beneficial as they grow as 4th graders! Having these books readily available gives students access to more information about grade level topics. I would use the books as mentor texts, as well as have them in our classroom library for the students to read for fun and learn more about the topics!
