The books and materials asked for will help to enhance my students abilities, experience and love of learning. My hope is that with a variety of books we can get more students on board to read and enjoy reading. Books are such a crucial part of learning and many students do not have books at home and are not read to at home. I would like to build a library where there are books of all varieties, genres and interests for my students. Students need to feel safe in their classroom so providing these supplies and classroom furniture/decorations we are creating a space for these students to be proud to come to, proud to create, and proud to show their growth. Coming from such diverse backgrounds I want each of my students to be held to high standards and feel capable of everything they put their minds to. The supplies will help students learn in each of their diverse ways.
