The area rug will be used daily for morning meeting and end of the day meetings. As a class, my students will be able to sit socially distant and engage in a community time. This is such a big part of kindergarten. Being able to share stories and talk. We will use the carpet for Reading stories, and Math warm ups and mini lessons. The rug will provide a warm welcoming nurturing positive experience for each student. Each student will have their own personal space. This will be our class place to gather. A place to feel a part of a class family.
