In my classroom, we utilize blended learning and station rotations to keep students engaged in their lessons and to promote effective collaborative groups. Tables that allow easy group work and have the ability to be written on are great for this type of grouping and learning. When students are able to talk with peers about their learning and work together, they are able to hear other ideas and other strategies for learning. The ability to move around in stations also helps students remain engaged and active in their learning process.
