The students in this classroom are severely impacted due to their disabilities and require lessons to be taught with a lot of hands-on tools. The items I am requesting will help students use items that fit their needs to get the information delivered to them. There are also items that will help teach students with no vision to figure out how to complete tasks and those with sensory needs will be able to get their needs filled which will allow them to attend to their lessons better. Students with multiple impairments will need special focus in their lessons. Our goal is to deliver the same lesson to all students in a way that is meaningful to them so we often need to think outside the box and use items that might not usually be used in that way.
