Students will be able to practically apply their skills in the scientific process by using these materials to collect valuable data. Using these materials will provide them with an opportunity to challenge themselves in project based learning assignments. With these materials, students will have a deeper understanding of photosynthesis, respiration, modeling climate change and homeostasis in an "eco-column," monitoring air quality, determining soil composition, assessing water quality and more. The kit and sensors give students more tangible experiences in the classroom that can help relate science to their daily experiences.
