This project is designed to help my students increase their knowledge of music theory and encourage them to be creative in “composing” their own music. I want to use apps like garage band and fun theory/music apps to help them learn. As a music teacher I want to use “modern-day” music to help them learn important music concepts. I will also use these tablets in various learning atmospheres such as music center time, etc. I cannot wait to see their creative thought processes flourish as they use these tablets. I also want to increase my use of technology in the classroom!
