Right now 49.2% of our school is reading at the novice level! We can change that by increasing their interest in reading. To do so, I plan to provide books that give students mirrors and windows. They see themselves reflected in their materials, as well as the perspectives of others. I will also choose topics that students request for the library. I am a first-year teacher building a library from scratch and could really use some help. Your donation will help my 2021-22 students and well as all classes after them.
