During Covid Kindergarten students missed out on play learning with others due to online learning. Learning through play is so vital to their development. Having this kitchen play set will give my 1st graders opportunities to learn to get along with others, to organize, and to clean up after themselves that they may have missed in Kindergarten. All of this promotes social and self awareness as well as self management. Kindergarten classrooms have play sets but I believe first grade classrooms should also. Six year olds still love to pretend play
