The hands-on math materials will help students develop skills in multiplication, division, adding and subtracting fractions, comparing fractions, place value, and geometry. The use of these materials allows students to mimic and solve real-life mathematical problems through fun and engaging math games. The Grab & Play Games for grades 3-4 comes in a complete set that includes games that help students reinforce their mastery of multiplication, adding & subtracting fractions comparing fractions, place value, geometric measurement, and division through fun and engaging games. A Complete Set of Math Quiz Cards and a Power Pen will provide instant reinforcement and feedback when students use the power pen and quiz card to practice and extend their skills in addition, subtraction, shapes, place value, time, and money. My students will use the Place Value Hands-On Teaching Kit to boost their mastery place value skills as they practice building multidigit numbers, identifying whole numbers from ones to millions, and explore powers of ten and more. The knowledge and use of money come to life as students use a Real-Life Working Cash Register that has a built-in calculator and digital display. The students will enjoy learning and applying their knowledge of money as they pretend to add, subtract, multiply and divide pretend purchases. The simulation of real-life experiences about money in the learning environment helps students develop skills in measuring and collecting data about money. Students will extend and reinforce their understanding of fractions concepts when they use the Fractions Hands-On Teaching Kit. This kit contains fraction manipulatives that provide learning and practice experiences for students as they engage in activities where they compare fractions, identify equivalents, understand whole numbers through twelfths.
