Students will get many opportunities to grow different plants and test various settings by changing what kind of light, nutrients, soil, etc. are involved. By having this GrowLab in the class, students will be able to continuously monitor their plants by taking measurements and chemical tests. Because my science classroom does not have a window, it is impossible to grow most plants in the classroom for students to be able to study. With this GrowLab, light, humidity, drainage, and density can all be changed in order to find different results in students' testing. This GrowLab will give my students the real-world application of agriculture and how climate change is affecting plant life.
