Many times special education students get the instruction they need but when it comes to little "extras" that help them immensely, those aspects are harder to come by. With getting some LED lamps our classroom can soften the lighting and turn off the "buzz" of the florescent lighting that for some people goes unnoticeable but for special education students sensitive to audio/noise it can be nerve wracking. Our fidget collection usually ends up going home with students to help them do homework and concentrate--so we're setting up a reward for fidgets too so kids can earn theirs to keep! The Bouncybands are great for keeping kids quiet--and on task! Help us make this the best special education room ever at our school!
