You know the feeling and smell of a new book? Of walking into the library and seeing what you've been waiting for on the "New Releases" shelf? That's the feeling I want to bring to the young men at my school. That feeling is special, and must be a part of every student's library experience. When the pandemic hit, libraries in schools nationwide lost scores of books. As we begin back to school in person, we are rebuilding our school library. The books contained in this book list are reported as the best sellers and also have won awards or have starred reviews. These are the books that make kids excited to come to the library and check out a new book. These are the books that, in our hallways, you will see young men recommending to other young men as they pass. These books will be the ones that provide that special feeling.
