This year, I have my own classroom for the first time! I need help making sure it is a welcoming and fun environment for my students. So things such as extra outlets and fun lights are going to be very helpful. Some of the supplies will directly benefit my new students such as writing utensils and anchor charts. I use different colors when teaching new topics so student access to highlighters will be so useful! I'm specifically excited to use the dry erase pockets for whiteboard activities or just as an option for students to complete work instead of using paper and pencil! The journals will be used to give students an opportunity for a free write every week that they can choose to share with me or simply keep to themselves. Finally, I found an awesome group activity to do on the first day of school that requires colored popsicle sticks, I can’t wait to try it! Thank you for your help with my project :)
