COVID-19 has changed so much in all of our lives. With some of my students not being in the classroom for a year in a half I am looking to make this school year as easy going as possible. There have been some changes to protocols in our school and the items I am requesting will help our school year run smoothly. I am asking for a classroom iPad. Since COVID-19 we have begun to use more technology throughout our school day. Apps and websites have flooded my personal phone in an attempt to cause the least amount of disruption in my classroom. Unfortunately using my personal phone in the school building does not always work. Having a classroom iPad will allow me to monitor students, write passes, and teach my lesson all at the same time. I have also asked for desk caddies for the students. This will give them a space for their belongings while in my classroom. 6th grade is the first time many of our students switch classes and our students carry their belongings around with them. Having desk caddies will keep the floors clear and give them a space they feel is their own. Thank you so much for your consideration in helping to make our school year a successful one!
