These resources will help my students enjoy the print-rich bilingual classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students enjoy - I read to them; they love to hear stories, and they would love to comprehend what they read independently! My students are thankful for the opportunities to read in their native language and are curious and excited to understand reading in English successfully. All of the resources that I have chosen with my students in mind will help me to give them the help to acquire the skills and practice necessary for them to be successful. With these resources, my students will learn and practice in a fun and safe way. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more and use different strategies to grow stronger in English reading. My students already have shown a tremendous interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
