We need a way for students to easily look through the variety of books to choose ones that meet their interest and ability levels. Currently we have hundreds of books crammed on a shelf and it is difficult for students to browse the shelf and replace the books when they are finished. Books tubs will allow us to organize the books by theme, topic, and favorite authors. These tubs will allow the books to be shelved in an organized manner so that the student can flip through, looking at the cover of the books, and find what they like. A bookshelf and book tubs are desperately needed to help us organize our classroom library. The wooden bookshelf I have requested will allow us to showcase our unit of study books. The wood bookshelf will allow student to see the covers of the books that are on display so they can decide what looks interesting to them. By funding this project you will make it possible for my students to have their own classroom library where they can easily access interesting books to read at their own instructional levels.
