The items I have included in my project will engage student learning at our light table! I have included sensory rings to build fine motor skills while working on math and language arts skills. My students will be given the opportunity to search through the rings to find letters, numbers, and words. The students will practice their number and letter writing recognition. My students will also be able to work on their writing skills. They will search through the sensory rings and write the letters, numbers, or words they discover. I have included trays and math manipulatives for students to practice sorting and building patterns. Sorting and patterns are important math standards for my students to master.
