Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to be in control of their learning and make choices that help them work best. During independent work times they choose a spot in our classroom that helps them grow as an individual. Currently, my students are limited to where they can sit and what tools they can use. Their current options are: different heightened tables, sitting under tables with clip boards, or laying on the floor with a clip board. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my kiddos when they are given a choice in their seating. The products that I have selected will help my students focus more on their academics and not where they are wanting to sit in the room. The wobble stools are adjustable and allow students to sit while moving at any table in our room. These will be extremely beneficial for kiddos who are constantly on the move! The comfy floor seats and the beanbag chairs give the kiddos a comfy spot while reading in our library space! They are easily stored and super lightweight! I have seen how the power of choice can positively affect my kiddos behavior and work! Please help them by donating to our project!
