My fourth graders are absolutely FABULOUS! This is my 8th year teaching 4th grade and soon I will venture on to 1st grade. It is my goal to teach my fourth graders the way I would want my own son to be taught. I strive to connect deeply with them and help them grow a life long love for learning. My classroom is a place they are comfortable taking risks and feel welcome. Despite what they have going on outside of school, I want school to be a place they look forward to coming to every day. I aim to be sure my students not only master standards, but discover a joy and passion for learning. Although I strive to inspire them, they are often the ones teaching me a thing or two.
