With helping to fund my project, the materials will help provide my students with hands-on experience in biotech and biology. The skills and experiences they will acquire will help them secure a career right out of high school for many and serve as a foundation for more advanced learning in college for others. The biology courses are college level courses and will allow my seniors to receive college credit which can be transferred to other institutions. By using the materials provided, students will learn how to manipulate genes and to create new variations of medical products, foods and drug testing for the medical, drug and food supply industries. They will use these techniques in their future careers in the laboratory and medical sciences. Help me to support the scientists of the future and invest in your future employees.
