As a certified teacher and successful grad school graduate, I could talk all day about butterflies or the rock cycle, but how much more meaningful would those lessons be if students could augment their learning with hands-on experiences such as looking at a butterfly wing through a microscope, or perhaps even holding a real life geode and observing its fracture points and composition? It is my goal to make my students' learning come alive this year. I want them to be excited to come to school and eager to share what they've learned with their families.
