These items will help my students to be able to achieve anything they set their mind to in my classroom. These items will vary on whether they stay in the classroom or go home with the students. The table top cubbies will ensure that students have materials ready at hand. The mailbox and storage bins will make the classroom more efficient and organized, so the students will be able to focus on learning. The take home bags for books will allow me to ensure that students are getting literacy at home and at school. The teachers pay teachers gift card will allow me to create developmentally appropriate lessons that also have an engaging twist to them as well; because in all honesty, who wants to learn if you're not having fun. The magnetic rack will allow me to enhance the excitement of literacy in my classroom by presenting the book that we are reading about that day. My goal is to allow the students to do work where they are comfortable and the pack of clipboards will help me to allow them to do that. I want to make it clear to each student that whatever they need in order to learn in this classroom, will be available for them. With the help of donations, I can make sure that this year while they are in my classroom that they have everything they need to become ready for second grade.
