A new carpet will engage students to begin working together as partners and in groups for the first time since the pandemic. New flexible seating, puzzles, and games will promote excitement and joy in learning for my students’ first year of “normal” school. In first grade we do a lot of moving around to keep students engaged. In this challenging world of about an 8-second attention span, I need more than ever to provide stimulation and excitement in my classroom. Thank you very much for your kind consideration for students.
