All the items on my list will enhance learning in my classroom. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card gives me the ability to buy the resources I need to teach everything these Kindergarteners need to know. The doorbell helps me get students attention, the shelves help me stay organized, the folders and whiteboards are for the students to use, and the All About Today helps students start the day off right! I want to have two new centers, a drama center where students can retell familiar stories with puppets and practice performing for one another, and a sensory bin center where students can explore new materials, practice sorting, and enhance fine motor skills. Students also get to build their social and emotional skills as they work together and communicate during these centers. I am passionate about teaching and excited to have the means and materials to help my students learn and grow together. I can't wait for my first year teaching!
