I believe that a welcoming and relatable learning environment is a crucial part of effective teaching and education. As this is my first year teaching, I don’t not have any decor or alternative lighting for my classroom. With these materials, my students will have a modern and fun place to learn about nutrition, personal finance, early childhood education, culinary, and more. FACS is traditionally viewed as a predominantly feminine subject. This decor makes this area a bit more inviting for all students. It also helps students get to know me a bit better!
