This year was so challenging for students and teachers across the world. Distance learning became the norm and a fully functioning computer has become a necessity to providing quality instruction for my students. I want to use the MacBook to video chat with my students to provide them with assistance on assignments and studying for upcoming tests. I will also use the memory to hold all of the virtual/ in-person lessons I have created over the past year. The iMovie feature on the MacBook will allow me to create video tutorials for my students! I am so excited about this because this will give students the opportunity to see step-by-step examples on how to solve our math problems. The will get live instruction from me via video chat or tutorial videos, instead of trying to figure it out on their own. I want to provide as much support as I can to all of my students, especially during a big transition year (Freshman). We all know how difficult math can be, especially for teenagers or students with special needs. Having this MacBook will allow me to reach more students and provide continuous support to students (even when they are at home). Please help me reach all of my math students through supporting this DonorsChoose! This project will allow students to be more connected to me and create endless opportunities for additional math support. I am so excited at the possibilities and opportunities that this MacBook will provide for my students!
