My students need the TI - 30XS multiview scientific calculator for remediation, instruction, and advancement. This model of calculator is great for helping remedial students learn to reduce fractions. It is also a fabulous tool for helping advanced students with trigonometric ratios. I have a few of the TI -30 XS Multiview Scientific calculators in my classroom and the remedial students understood that they were the calculators that the advanced students typically used. They treated the calculators that I do have with great care and great appreciation. I just did not have enough to go around. So they would race to my desk to see who could get one, and who would have to work with the less desirable calculators.
